Why I'm Running
I’m grateful for the opportunity to hear directly from this community about our shared vision for Rosemead that’s safer and better for residents.
It’s important I acknowledge my past. I’ve certainly made mistakes. I fully accept responsibility for those prior actions. I regret what I did and letting so many people down. A trust was broken.
But I’m a changed person, better husband and father, and improved leader today because of those experiences. It’s my sincere hope that my actions and record of late, as well as the overwhelming support from so many community members and neighborhood leaders across Rosemead, has enabled me to re-earn your confidence and build back your trust.
Rosemead is an amazing city. Together, I know we can implement our shared vision to create a community that respects the past while fully embracing the future.
My priorities for Rosemead are simple:
- Improve public safety
- Increase affordability and work to lower costs
- Grow our local economy
- Enhance recreation opportunities
We are a country and community that believes in second chances. I’ve worked to rebuild my life with my family and our city at its heart. Ask me anything. I’m an open book and eager to hear from Rosemead residents.
I’m humbly asking for your vote for Rosemead City Council. I’ve had the privilege of serving this community before and serving two terms as your Mayor. I would be honored to have your support once again.
